Florida Attorney Michael Maddux just sent us this interesting tip about the Florida Oil Spill legal team being assembled by Tampa lawyer Steve Yerrid. According to the Tampa Bay Business Journal, BP will have to answer and respond to Yerrid's handpicked team of lawyers retained to respond to the claims from the Deepwater Horizon mess. According to a message we reviewed Mr. Yerrid is an, "experienced trial lawyer who was key in obtaining tobacco industry settlement money for Florida and who specializes in maritime matters. Yerrid has started assembling a team of lawyers he said will make certain the state is compensated for damages that as yet are not quantified."
