Florida Oil Spill .com has noticed an uptick in interest in clean energy. We spent some time with Susan Glickman, an advocate for clean energy. You may recall we were live at her Florida Oil Spill Forum this week. We note that since the Gulf of Mexico Oil Disaster, there is legislative momentum to support a clean energy future. There will be a Clean Energy Congress, June 28-29, 2010 in the House Chamber, Florida State Capitol, Tallahassee, Florida
According to Susan Glickman, "Florida has an opportunity to grow our economy and create jobs by establishing a market for the clean tech sector. For this reason and many more, there is an increasing urgency to put state and federal policies in place to attract investments to the state." According to Ms. Glickman, "State Representative Michelle Rehwinkel Vasilinda . . . co-created the concept, is sponsoring [the] use of the House Chamber and the 22nd Floor, and has been spent many hours helping to plan the event."
