Seabirds and Oil Spill in Florida

We have sent a team to the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary in Indian Shores, Florida. What have we learned? As of Friday June 18, 2010 they are inundated with dish washing soap and have yet to receive a single animal from the Gulf Oil Spill disaster (Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, or Florida) . We are seeing media reports of unused resources throughout the region.

Oil Spill - Dauphin Island, Alabama

The efforts to stem the flow of oil from the icy depths of the Gulf of Mexico have failed. As balls of oil wash up on Dauphin Island, Alabama, BP chief operating officer Doug Suttles said,  "I wouldn't say it's failed yet,"

"What I would say is what we attempted to do ... didn't work." According  to a Mother's Day report from the Associated Press.
