Oil Spill - Dauphin Island, Alabama
The efforts to stem the flow of oil from the icy depths of the Gulf of Mexico have failed. As balls of oil wash up on Dauphin Island, Alabama, BP chief operating officer Doug Suttles said, "I wouldn't say it's failed yet,"
"What I would say is what we attempted to do ... didn't work." According to a Mother's Day report from the Associated Press.
