A copy of the Federal District Court Oilspill Lawsuit can be found here in PDF format.

The Complaint Claims:

"More than 5,000 barrels per day of crude oil have been leaking from the wellhead and broken riser, bubbling up to the surface and flattening out into a widening slickof oil. The growing, fast-moving, rainbow-colored smear is large enough to be visible from outer space, covering more than 3,500 square miles, and spreading with the wind and currents towards the Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida coastlines."
